Commission for St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN
In late 2015/early 2016, I had the great pleasure to create four art quilts as a commission for St. Mary’s Hospital which is part of a very large and well-known medical center in Rochester, MN. The art quilts depict leaves from trees native to Minnesota in reference to the first location of the clinic in Rochester, MN. The trees selected for the project are River Birch, Shagbark Hickory, Black Oak, and Butternut.
