We all have been there: we work a lot of hours and for that we sacrifice time that we used to spend with family and friends, exercising or other ways of restoring our own physical and mental health. We get lost in the daily grind and before we know it we are running on fumes. That state is considered stress.
However, if we are mindful of the positive aspects of our work, like the goal we want to reach, the benefit other people will have because of our efforts, or the compassion we express in our daily activities, then we feel more content with what we do and motivated to move forward despite all the hours we put in.
I encourage you to find the positive aspects in your work and focus your energy on that mindset.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
Christine
