In our busy lives with hectic schedules, long to-do lists, and places to go, go, go, we might not take the time to stop and think about the things that matter deeply to us. There are days when we feel overwhelmed and hence, forget our daily intentions. It seems impossible to carve out time to be still and listen inwards.
Of course, we care about our values and the meaning of our lives but a mindful approach to these aspects might simply get lost in the shuffle.
Every day, slow down for just a few minutes. Pay attention to your thoughts, your emotions, your body. What do others need from you and what do YOU need for yourself?
Choose ONE thing that matters to you for this day. Make this goal your Northern Star despite busyness and stress.
And keep in mind that the most important thing is remembering the most important thing!
